Holding parties accountable for child sexual abuse

| Feb 28, 2020 | Child Sexual Abuse

A child who is the victim of sexual abuse will often a face a lifetime of problems. The extent of the emotional damage might not be immediately evident, especially if the child is younger when they are harmed. For the parents of children who are trying to recover from this atrocious behavior, trying to find options to do this can be a difficult task.

People might not realize how costly it is to get these children the help they need. Not only are the astronomical medical care costs to deal with the physical injuries, there is often a need to visit mental health professionals. While insurance might help with some of the costs, there are likely out-of-pocket costs.

Parents may have to take off work to care for the child. Sleepless nights if the child is having nightmares and similar situations can make life difficult for the parents and even worse for the child. The effects are more far-reaching than some people might realize.

We know that you probably never thought that you’d be one of the parents that had to deal with this. If you find that you are, we are here to help. We want to help you hold the responsible party liable for what your child is going through.

We understand the struggles that come with speaking out as a victim. We work on behalf of your child to represent them against the institution that’s responsible for what happened. This includes schools, churches, scouting organizations and any other party that allowed the abuse. We also work to hold individuals accountable in these cases.
